| Support continues to come from most of the major club sides with a few stalwart coaches carrying the burden through the years. One would like to think CYR is a firmly established part of the Colorado rugby community. The lesson of the 70's still holds true, we can never take anything for granted. CYR is always dependent upon the larger rugby community for support and leadership. |
CYR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Successfully hosted the Boys National High School Championship in 1987 and
1994 and the Girls National Invitational Tournament in 2000. Fort Collins, 2000 and 2001 Girls National Invitational Champions Have hosted several coaching clinics for new coaches to receive training and current coaches to improve on coaching skills. Coaching clinics are normally held in January before the start of the season. A conservative estimate of 15,000 high school players have been exposed to rugby. Safety is our number one concern! |
